Start your meditation journey with the basics in this free introductory class, Day 1 of my 10-Day Beginner’s Course. This session is designed to help you build a strong foundation for a lasting meditation practice.
We’ll begin with Vagal breathing, a core technique to calm the nervous system and bring focus to the present moment. Next, I’ll guide you through proper sitting posture, ensuring a solid base for your practice. The session concludes with Kaya Sthairyam (body stillness) meditation, cultivating deep awareness and inner stillness. What is meditation?
This is where I believe many people get confused with meditation: they don’t actually know what it is.
Meditation is not something we do, it is what we are. It is the true self beneath the identities, thoughts, emotions and sensations of the body.
What I am actually teaching is how to concentrate, how to be fully present in the moment, without resistance or attachment.
It’s OK to relax
Come to a place of complete stillness within yourself. Observe the restlessness or impulse to move without acting on it. Look for where you may be holding tension in the body and breathe into it. Create space to relax
True Freedom
Break free from the chains that confine your mind and liberate yourself from limiting thoughts and beliefs.
Take a moment to reflect on the deep seated beliefs that are binding you, holding you back from reaching your true potential. When we bring conscious awareness to these patterns we can shatter the self-imposed constraints.

Opportunity to Grow
My life changed when I stopped living life as a victim to circumstance. It’s so empowering to realise that every life situation is an opportunity for growth. Mistakes are just lessons that we have not yet learned from.
Miracle of Surrender
I have found that when I surrender to the moment as it is, not as I wish it to be, my suffering is replaced with ease.
The yin within holds the sensations that had been triggered by the life situation. It was the resistance, the need to control what was out of my control, that was causing my stress.
2-Minute Rule
Starting with 2 minutes a day, create the habit of meditating and gradually build from there - see the difference for yourself
Mindfulness
Mindfulness allows you to witness reality without attempting to change it in any way. By regularly meditating you teach the mind and body that you don’t need to react with any resistance or attachment at all. Once you realise you can have a serene encounter with reality, calm and tranquillity soon follow.
